Alice Cracknell

Founder, Origin Africa

Alice Cracknell is the Co-Founder of Origin Africa, the UK’s first 100% not-for-profit fashion brand. Alice had worked for many international charities prior to setting up Origin and has a passion for international development and poverty alleviation. Her ambition is that as an ethical fashion brand Origin can help to reverse the negative effects of fast fashion and actually contribute positively to social change and freedom for those living in poverty.
Origin creates planet-friendly clothing which is sold in the UK,  100% of the profits are then used to fund social impact initiatives in Africa.

Not only is the ethical fashion brand built on sustainable and ethical production, it is also using it’s profits to help change lives. The clothing and iconic designs have become popular across the UK including many celebrity fans such as Fearne Cotton and Gemma Atkinson and has featured on the BBC, ITV, Forbes, The Metro, The Evening Standard and You Magazine. Origin is proving that fashion can be a force for good!
